Beach Tennis Angels

Another weekend, another game, new players, fresh faces, and old stalwarts holding the beach tennis fort. Fun, competitive, and social.

For a club that is 3-years old, we are beating the odds, expanding our reach, and maintaining our stable of both fresh and familiar faces. This accomplishment has been due in no small part to those who have not hesitated to contribute their talent, time and tenacity to building a platform to elevate the standing of our club through event planning, community outreach, and using their talents to spread the word.

Each day on the beach, our beach tennis angels go above and beyond to cultivate a culture of contribution, of giving back, of ownership, and teamwork to make beach tennis a sport worthy of being a part of. It's all about being there for the community we serve.

There are many simple ways of giving back and being a beach tennis angel:
1) from coming early and setting up a net, to staying late and putting nets and equipment away
2) coordinate during a rainstorm with coach and teammates so wet equipment can be put away somewhere dry
3) welcoming new players and helping them with first play session
4) coordinating with players to establish play at new venues and times
5) being the inspiration and organizer for an overseas trips to play beach tennis
